S.v. TochB sark* 'back (of the body)', to be connected with TochA särśi if, as usually assumed, the word means 'backbone'. Melchert (p.c.) suggests a plausible connection to Anatolian sark- 'high' with an original meaning 'ridge, high point' vel sim.
