The estern dialect of Yaghnobi, which has a slightly more archaic sound shape than the Eastern variety (preserving the diphthong [ai̯] vs. Eastern [ɛ:]).
Note on geographical location
The location is set to the Yaghnob valley, Tajikistan, which is where the language was spoken for centuries until the 1970s when a major resettlement took place. Some speakers have returned only recently.
