IE-CoR reference form:
*k̑leu̯s-
IE-CoR reference language:

no
Parallel derivation:
no
Proposed as cognate to:
*k̑leu̯- [Proto-Indo-European] scale: 4
Justification:
Tocharian and Slavic lexemes from PIE *k̑leu̯s- 'to hear, to listen to' (LIV² 336, cf. Adams 2013:250-251, Derksen 2008:455-456). The root is probably a secondary verbal root abstracted from a desiderative formation from *k̑leu̯- 'hear' already in the protolanguage (cf. LIV² 336).
